BACKGROUND

Christian Aids Network, here and after abbreviated as CAN, is an independent, non profit, indigenous church based Charitable Organization. Evangelist, Grace Nyanga and Church members decided to put the brain power together and started the organization in 2003 to try to remove the Stigma and Create Hope to the people living with HIV/AIDS, these two factors having been the most frequent situations the faithful would turn up for counseling and prayers.

 

Soon the intended boundaries were found to be outstripped by demand, as the need for service was growing at a speed so terrific, in an area so wide than the resources, physical, financial and human could handle. In a light of this and in expansion of the future, owing partly to the unending spread of HIV/AIDS and partly to increasing abject poverty. HIV/AIDS problem probably just like else where in the world has left a big group of people affected and these are grouped as orphans, widows, widowers, dependents, guardians, grand parents of many beyond their abilities, street boys and many others as they may be grouped as you can see. These groups involves the both possibly sick and those who are health, but in problems.

VISION


To bring hope and gradual reliefs to the people infected with HIV/AIDS and give them assurance of care for their children in cases of death of both members. We do this in ways of providing counseling and developing self sustainability attitude in our members.
